TAZ Technologies Drag Reduction Systems 

• One of the spins offs of our hypersonic research is our drag reduction system. We are developing a metasurface skin, made of surface discharge dielectric barrier micro plasma actuators and it is only few millimeters thick that can be applied on any aerodynamic surface. When high voltage, high frequency pulsed electric power is applied to the skin, the laminar air flow over the skin is fully controllable.
